About Nico
I have spent my childhood between the U.S and France and i am native in both languages.
For as long as i can remember, i have always been passionate about learning new skills and traveling to new countries.
after graduating high school in a literary branch, i studied at the music conservatory of Grenoble, France, and have been tutoring students of all ages and backgrounds in both English and French.
Since then, I have learned to speak fluent Spanish and excellent Italian.
Along the years i have perfected a method, which highlights the common grounds between all of these Latin derived languages and found an easy, palatable approach, that i am pleased to share with my students in a natural, sensible way.

My name is Nicolas and i am fluent in four languages.
Born in the States, raised in France i am a native speaker in both French an English and have lived in Spanish speaking countries for over twenty years (Mexico, Spain,Chile).
Let me guide you in your learning process and show you the short cuts into mastering any language.
I will show you the secrets to speaking fluently so you may have the confidence of becoming bilingual.
Vocabulary: express yourself with the active vocabulary of the everyday French citizen. I will highlight the bridges between both languages (45% of English derives from French).
I will also teach some Slang and explain popular expressions, and the intended humor behind it.
Pronunciation: Sound native. French is often considered challenging because of improbable nasal and guttural sounds found in few other languages. i will teach the phonetics of it to achieve an authentic sounding speech and also give you the key to applying the method to any other language.
Grammar: Learn grammar effortlessly. I will give you a few tricks for you to use without having to translate in your head beforehand.
Listening: Have you ever struggled to follow a conversation or find yourself not getting the joke? Imagine being able to recognize accents and colloquial terms...Have no doubt that all of this is within reach for you to speak an authentic french, in an easy, fun and original way!
