About Haila M
I always use life as her starting point, so the process is more an experience rather than imagined. I believe that working with memory is a way of finding and establishing my identity, transforming and freeing myself from limits through my art. I definitely see art as a tool for making sense of life's complexity, chaos, the fragility of the world and my own journeys, both internal and external. Reliving these moments brings a deeper meaning to my story telling.
