About Samantha
"Violin instruction is rarely about doing more, but rather about doing less with greater intent. I did not realise how much I had to unlearn until I started teaching others.
Holding an MMus degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire helped me refine my approach to bowing technique, intonation, and left hand agility. Across 7 years of teaching, I have supported 475 students in mastering scales, arpeggios, and shifting positions. Developing rhythm and timing takes patience. "You will gain control over the fingerboard through a clear, diagnostic assessment before setting the practice plan. This ensures your foundation is solid. We focus on sight reading and music theory. My background includes 7 years of studio work.
Double stops become manageable once you understand the physics of the string. You will find that these sessions are consistently satisfying. Playing music should be an enjoyable discovery."
