About Eesha
Hello, I'm Eesha, a current undergraduate Law/Science student at the University of Waikato.
As someone who has been on both sides of this system as both student and tutor, and is still going through the motions of the academic system, I fully understand how sometimes it can feel overwhelming at times to do everything by yourself and that's where I come in!
Having graduated from ACG Parnell College (high school), completing the rigorous CAIE curriculum in Math, Physics, English, Biology, Chemistry allowed me to deepen my knowledge in these subjects, as well as tutoring during this time.
When teaching, I strive above all to make sure that my student grows into a confident learner, developing a genuine interest for the subject. I'm committed to helping my students coming out of their shell and being the best they can be.
It is my mission to ensure that students are able to effectively and enjoyably navigate their education system with full confidence.

My lessons typically are around an hour long, however can be extended if needed. I can teach English, general science, math, biology, physics, and chemistry. I teach all ages, up till year 13.
In the past, I have worked as a peer tutor (voluntary) at my high school, then both privately & for a company during my university studies.
Typically, my lessons consist of first getting to know where the student is at with their studies, allowing me to create a lesson plan based on their needs.
For example, with my most recent pupil, teaching year 9 math, we go through many questions together until they feel fully confident when they answer.
I don't have a set lesson style, and instead tutor in a way to allow the students' gaps in knowledge to slowly fill in over time or quickly, depending on their learning style.
Many of my past students have found success with me practicing past papers, or just listening to me explain the lesson, fully dependent on them. So if you're interested in seeing the way I teach and you want solid results, please don't hesitate to contact me!
