About Ethan
Hey,
Unfortunately, I don't have any prior experience teaching business but was always very passionate about it. This affected those around me, as I provided advice, to people like my sister, grandparents or even my friends to the answers for homework, or with common business issues which they may see on the news and its effect on us, for example, Brexit. Therefore, I know that your child will definitely learn with me, whilst having fun at the same time.
As a Commerce student at Newcastle University aiming for High Distinctions throughout my course and aiming to do an honorary degree at the end, finishing it off with a PhD in Finance once I'm out of University hopefully, I know that what I learn will also be able to help my students, your child, to get a higher result in business at school, whether this is study techniques or just knowledge, my ultimate aim is to make your child feel like business isn't a foreign subject, which a subject like Maths or Science may be.
Fun fact: I was once in High school once as well and believed that rewarding myself with good grades sometimes didn't come without hard work, but that the harder you work, the more fun you'll have in the future as your dreams have a higher probability of coming true.

The average lesson will consist of two main principals, as mentioned before, hard work but also fun. One shouldn't coexist without the other in my opinion. The harder you work, hopefully, the better the job in the future which you will get, meaning more money and therefore, the more things that you will be able to buy for yourself, such as a Ferrari possibly?
My average lesson will generally be based off what your child will want to learn. I'm more than free and confident to answer any question they throw my way. If they don't have any questions, then we will work through last weeks work that they did in class and make study notes or write out a summary of what was learnt in the lesson. After this and they feel confident with last weeks topic we will work through some exam-style questions, without looking at the book, for me, but more importantly for them to realise what they are still not confident about. I'll go through and explain the answers to them and set any wrong questions by the end of the lesson for homework for next time. Homework should only generally take 15 - 20 minutes to complete.
