About Anjali
I’m currently a 3rd year Pharmacy student at university and also work as an NHS 111 Health Adviser. I have always enjoyed helping others learn and build confidence, which is one of the main reasons I decided to start tutoring.
Having attended Wallington High School for Girls grammar school, I understand the dedication and exam techniques needed to succeed in both grammar school entrance exams and GCSEs. I mainly teach GCSE Maths, Biology and Chemistry, but I also support students preparing for 11+ and grammar school entrance exams.
I enjoy making difficult topics easier to understand by breaking them down into simple, step-by-step explanations. My goal is to help students feel more confident, improve their grades and develop effective revision and exam techniques that will benefit them long term.
I believe every student learns differently, so I always adapt my teaching style to suit each individual student’s strengths, pace and learning goals.

I’m currently a 3rd year Pharmacy student at university and also work as an NHS 111 Health Adviser, which has helped me develop strong communication, patience and problem-solving skills when working with students of different abilities.
I attended Wallington High School for Girls grammar school, so I understand the preparation, discipline and exam techniques needed to succeed in grammar school entrance exams and selective school applications.
I mainly teach GCSE Maths, Biology and Chemistry; however, I also help students prepare for grammar school entrance exams, including 11+ verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, maths and English.
My lessons are designed to be friendly, engaging and easy to understand. I focus on breaking down difficult topics into simple step-by-step explanations so students can build confidence and genuinely understand the content instead of just memorising it. I also use active recall, exam-style questions, revision techniques and real-life examples to help students improve quickly and achieve higher grades.
Each lesson is usually 1 hour long, although longer sessions can be arranged depending on the student’s goals. Lessons will be online.
My classes are suitable for:

. Year 6 to Year 7 transition students
