About Nicole
My name is Nicole and I have been singing for over 20 years . Singing is my passion and I would love nothing more than to share that passion with others.
I have worked professionally as a singer, including recording backing vocals, performing gigs with various music bands, performing for BBC radio, performing in Musical Theatre shows and even competing at a Musical Comedy Award in London with my own comedic songs.
For the past 15 years I have always worked with children, whether it be teaching them rock climbing or their GCSEs. Due to this, I have a vast knowledge of pedagogy and understand the importance of safeguarding also.
Whether my students want to sing for fun, sing to complete their singing grade or sing to eventually be able to sing professionally, I will love nothing more than to go on that journey alongside them.

My teaching style can be catered specifically for individual needs. Whether you are of primary school age, secondary school or even uni hoping to pursue singing grades, have a young family and want to do something for YOU for a change or retired hoping to embark on a new hobby - I have the skills and qualifications to teach anybody of any age!
I am DBS checked have experience with LCM Music, LAMDA and ABRSM exams. I am new to teaching singing but I have over 20 years of performance experience.
A typical lesson varies anywhere between 30 - 60 minutes and will include fun and in depth vocal warm ups before learning vocal techniques and working on a particular song(s) from your choosing. I am patient, flexible and can adapt to different music genres such as Musical Theatre, Jazz, Rock, Contemporary, Heavy Metal, Folk and much more!
I have my Grade 8 Singing in Musical Theatre as well as a Masters degree from Falmouth University. Having worked in schools before I am experienced with working with children and understand the importance of pedagogy and safeguarding.
You are in complete control of your lesson, bring whichever song or genre that you wish and I can guide you to become to best singer you can be! Come prepared and willing to go and I can give you lots of tips and tricks for you to learn and implement into your singing. My lessons are suitable for all ages and abilities. The lessons can be catered to you!
