About Judith
I love encouraging students to discover the magic of music and the delights of playing and learning the violin whilst working hard to learn technical skills, improve pitching, expression, communication, and how to make a beautiful sound. I am on the DBS Update Service and have over 15 years teaching experience.

I teach in a person-centred style, whilst getting to know the student’s learning styles, musical interests and objectives. I aim to make music learning fun, whilst enhancing technical skills, theory, playing by ear, and notation reading. I teach beginners to advanced, children and adults, can follow exam syllabuses if required, and have taught violin up to Grade 8 on ABRSM and Trinity syllabuses. I offer lessons at 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1 hour. I have taught 1:1 and small groups in many primary and secondary schools in Lincolnshire between 2007 and 2022 and am now teaching in Norwich and Lowestoft whilst playing in local chamber groups, symphony orchestras and musical theatre pit bands.
