Methodology

I am confident in teaching Biology up to Scottish Higher Level. My lessons consist of past paper questions and discussion-based learning, that I feel will benefit the progression of my learners best. I welcome students emailing me questions surrounding the course work and homework.

Experience

I am currently studying Adult Nursing at Edinburgh Napier University. I started tutoring Biology and English last year and my students have all achieved grades higher than their expectations of themselves. I pride myself in helping others and look forward to making a difference to my learners' education.

Rate for 5 hours of lessons : £50

Rate for 10 hours of lessons : £100

Details

Cancellations are free if given 24 hours notice. After that period 75% of the normal tuition fee will be charged.

I am a highly motivated and determined person. I work well both independently and within groups and I am confident in taking a leadership role. Problem solving and organisation comes easily to me therefore meeting deadlines and setting goals are a high priority in my learning. I take pride in my success.

Key Skills

I am confident in using many IT programmes including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Alongside my music qualifications I take time to learn the guitar, having achieved the equivalent of grade 6 through lessons outside school.
