About Lene

I’m a first year nursing student who has studied GCSE Triple Science and A-level Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I have achieved grade 9s from my Triple Sciences GCSE.

I’ve been a volunteer tutor in my old High school for a while, and would like to reach out to other students who need help in their sciences!

I am bilingual and fluent in both English and Tagalog. So I will be able to provide lessons in Tagalog if needed!

About the lesson

I teach my students by asking them their weak and strong points, I interview them and chat to them as if they were a friend who needs help.

Before teaching the content, I’d ask them to do a few questions and exercises (exam questions, recall, etc.) to jog their memory and to get a clearer picture of what they need help on.

Most importantly, I want to ensure that their tutoring session is based around their needs!

I would then help them with the content and delve into how they can structure their exam questions, express mistakes I’ve made in the past and how to avoid them.

I often provide them a personal Google Drive full of resources if needed.

Students are free to message me on the platform, text me through Whatsapp or email me if they need any exam questions help outside of lesson.

Lessons take place on Microsoft Teams or Google Meets according to the student’s preference.
