About Bree
Hi! My name is Bree Vaughn and I am a dedicated college student majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics along with Culinary Arts. My academic field requires a high level of precision, extensive research, and professional writing skills—strengths that I bring directly into my tutoring sessions to help your child excel.
In addition to my scientific background, I have a deep, lifelong passion for the English language and creative writing. I am a published poet, having been first published at the age of 13.
I understand how frustrating reading and writing can sometimes feel for students. Because of this, I focus on building a warm, encouraging environment where mistakes are treated as learning opportunities. I look forward to helping your child build confidence and reach their full academic potential!

I have a very engaging and interactive approach because I want to give the kids a reason to find learning fun!
In our sessions, I will typically review your child’s school lesson plans and coursework so we can focus on the areas where they may need a bit more help or development.
What sets me apart:
- I scored in the “College Readiness” category all throughout high school demonstrating strong mastery in English Language Arts.
-I am also a published poet from the time I was 13 which allows me to bring some creativity and imagination into the learning as well!
I pride myself on being very patient and adaptable and these lessons are for any kid that either needs a little push in the right direction or even just some motivation!
