About Olivia

I am a New York City–based academic tutor with over 6 years of experience. I specialize in homework support and SHSAT, PSAT, and SAT preparation for middle and high school students.

I work closely with students to strengthen their reading, writing, and analytical skills while building the confidence needed to succeed in both the classroom and on standardized exams. Through a thoughtful, structured approach that goes beyond short-term results—students develop critical thinking, strong study habits, and a more independent approach to their work.

I tailor each session to the individual student, whether they need academic support, test preparation, or a combination of both. I also have extensive experience working with students with diverse learning needs.

I am TESOL certified and hold a master’s degree from New York University.

Writing instruction emphasizes clarity, structure, and strong argumentation, while verbal test prep focuses on comprehension, vocabulary in context, and pattern recognition.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they require academic support, targeted test preparation, or a combination of both.
