About Thea
I have spent 20 years in the 8th grade - I believe this is why I maintain a youthful and energetic approach to my teaching. Additionally, I have also worked with high school students prepping for exams and Adult ESL students learning our language. I think it is important to keep your teaching diversified and current.

I am energetic and enthusiastic about meeting new students and helping them with their reading, writing, speaking and listening lessons. I have a great rapport with my students -whether they are 13 years old or 63 years old. I have the tools necessary to develop my lessons to my specific student's needs. Online tutoring can be monotonous and should be broken into realistic time allotments for that particular student. The work should also be engaging and challenging without becoming frustrating.
