About Lea
I generally speak English well, however, statistics use a special vocabulary, meaning if you want to be taught in English it will not be as easy for me as in German and I will have to look up words in between. Just wanna let you know this beforehand.
I completed my bachelor's degree in psychology in Vienna in 2019. Diagnostics and statistics have always been my favorite subjects. I am currently studying part-time online for my Master's in Psychology in Northern Ireland. The Master's will be completed next year.

Which teaching method I use depends on the student, it has to be right. Basically, I would say practice makes perfect. But first of all, the student must understand what it is about and what he has to do. Especially in maths at school or university, the problem is often that pupils / students simply do not understand WHY they have to use which formula and when. And how they come up with it. Or what that actually is, what you should calculate there. Unfortunately, many teachers just can't explain this at all. But that is the alpha and omega, we want to work that out together so that the student understands WHY he is doing WHAT exactly. Then we can try out this newly gained understanding together by the student calculating tasks manually or calculating in SPSS.

Es war insofern weniger wirklich Unterricht als ein gemeinsames Durchgehen von Literatur und deren Besprechung.
Denise hat an den Stellen, die sie nicht verstanden hat nachgefragt und klar artikuliert was sie wissen möchte.
Denise war stets höflich und freundlich und der "Unterricht" war angenehm.
