About Mila
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and have spent the past nine years teaching students of all different ages. My deep passion for this language grew out of my frequent travels across South America where I communicated daily with native speakers. I remember helping a high school student overcome intense speaking anxiety by practicing simple travel vocabulary during our initial interactive sessions.
Witnessing her transition from a hesitant beginner to a confident traveler who successfully studied abroad was incredibly rewarding for me. My lessons incorporate rich cultural understanding because learning a new language is truly about connecting deeply with wonderful people. I create an incredibly supportive classroom environment where mistakes are treated as natural steps toward complete fluency.
