About Izabelle
Hello, I'm Izabelle! A little bit about me is that I'm 17 years old and I'm in my second semester of college. I attend college full-time through a program for gifted students at my high school which I believe is what sets me apart! I love mathematics and literature and have never failed to excel in the subjects. I've earned a 99.4% in college algebra this past semester and I'm currently taking Business Calculus! I play two instruments for fun, the oboe and the clarinet, and I've tried playing the piano but it didn't work out for me. I attend lessons for the oboe and I'm first chair in my orchestra! For fun, I love to crochet, read, and play video games. I also love to volunteer at my local animal shelter! I love animals, especially because I have three dogs at home; Dash, Daisy, and Pixel!

When it comes to tutoring, I tend to cater to the student's specific needs and struggles. I realize every student, including myself at times, has different difficulties with certain concepts so when tutoring, I like to focus on the problem area which aims to help create a concrete foundation mathematically. A typical lesson plan will build off of an easier concept to grasp as well as very similar questions that build in difficulty to prepare the student for the classroom setting. While I'm open to tutor students between k-11, I much prefer k-9th. Finally, what sets me apart as a tutor is that I'm 17 years old and already in my second semester of college. Moreover, I'm thriving in my collegiate mathematics class, earning near perfect scores (99.4% overall last semester). I'm so excited to work with you or your student!
