About Amy
Hi, I’m Amy! I’m a registered Social Care professional and tutor, and I genuinely love supporting people and helping them feel more confident in themselves and their abilities.
I’ve worked across residential care, community services and family support, alongside tutoring Social Care students. I really enjoy being able to combine my practical experience with my teaching and help students see how what they’re learning connects to real-life situations.
I know that college can sometimes feel overwhelming, particularly when you’re staring at an assignment and don’t know where to start! I want my lessons to feel relaxed, friendly and completely judgment-free. Whether you’re looking for help understanding a topic, getting started on an assignment, improving your academic writing or just need someone to talk things through with, I’m happy to meet you where you’re at.
Everyone learns differently, so I’ll always take the time to understand what works best for you. My goal is not just to help you with one assignment, but to help you become more confident and independent in your studies.
I’m really looking forward to getting to know you and helping you get the most out of your Social Care studies!

I offer friendly, practical one-to-one support to students studying Social Care and related subjects.
As a current Social Care tutor, I understand that assignments, referencing, research and academic writing can sometimes feel overwhelming. My aim is to make things clearer and help you feel more confident in your own work.
Lessons can be tailored around what you need, whether that’s understanding an assignment brief, planning and structuring your work, improving academic writing, referencing, proofreading, preparing for exams or simply having someone talk through a topic with you.
I have practical experience across both community and residential settings, as well as my current role in family support. This means I can bring real-world experience and practical examples into lessons, helping you connect academic theory with what actually happens in practice.
Sessions are relaxed, supportive and completely tailored to your individual learning style and goals. All lessons take place online, making them easy to fit around college, work and other commitments.
