About Ellen
My name is Ellen, I am 21 from London and currently living and studying Classical Music at the University of Liverpool. My practical knowledge stems from playing the cello, which is the primary focus of my degree, and working in an orchestral setting, as I have served as the manager of the University of Liverpool Symphony Orchestra, as well as playing with and working frequently with younger students from age five in Liverpool and surrounding areas, helping to establish confidence from a practical and theoretical music environment.

I offer one-hour online lessons to support students preparing for ABRSM Music Theory examinations up to Grade 5. Lessons are clear, structured, and tailored to each student, whether focusing on specific areas of difficulty or working steadily through the syllabus. I aim to create a supportive and approachable learning environment, helping students build confidence alongside understanding. I am a Classical Music student at the University of Liverpool and a freelance cellist, with strong practical and theoretical experience to support effective progress.
