About Hetty
I enjoy helping people learn new skills, listening and providing feedback. These skills have been leveraged through my Level 5 English teaching Diploma.
As a tutor, I value your progress in understanding English grammar and using it actively in your everyday reading and writing. I'll give you weekly homework to keep your brain engaged - I studied Psychology at college and I find that this is the best way to learn!
Overall, my priority is to make your learning enjoyable and comfortable :)

My teaching approach seamlessly blends both student-led and teacher-led methods, optimising the learning experience to its fullest potential.
To maintain optimal concentration and engagement, each of my lessons is structured to last for 1 hour of duration. This time frame ensures that students can effectively grasp the material without feeling overwhelmed.
Elevating my qualifications, I am currently in the final stages of attaining my Level 5 English Teaching Diploma with TEFL. This not only sets me apart but also equips me with a deeper understanding and expertise beyond the standard English teacher.
My teaching portfolio is specifically designed to cater to A1-B2 English students (Beginner to Upper Intermediate levels). This comprehensive range ensures that I can effectively meet the diverse needs of learners at various stages of their language journey.
