She has had postdoctoral training and has presented posters at national conferences and guest lectures at dental schools. - During my time in patient care, I had numerous opportunities to teach and walk through complex topics with patients, technicians, and doctoral students. My experience gives me the ability to adapt my explanations to the level of the learner.
- My long-term goal for my lessons is to develop students’ critical thinking skills so that they can self-evaluate their work with confidence.
- I strive to make the environment supportive and encouraging so that students feel comfortable challenging themselves without the fear of criticism for making mistakes. At the same time, I am able to give feedback clearly and in a neutral manner to make sure that students feel both empowered and safe to voice their thoughts.
