About Kai
I absolutely love what I do and want to make as much of a difference as I can. Geography is my passion and I hope to ignite that feeling in others as well, I believe geography is so much more than the stereotypes people build around it (for example that geography is just about rocks!). I believe geography is an extremely important subject, and due to its evolving nature, studying it is a must! I am currently studying with the goal of becoming a volcanologist and eventually a lecturer. I have helped tutor multiple students from grades 2/3 to grades 7/8/9, including friends, and my sister who went from grade 3 to a 9, during my own GCSEs! I have also been a geography tutor for years 7,8 and 9 previously. I have an enhanced DBS, level 3 safeguarding training, Prevent training, SEN training and have worked with children for over 4 years in a multitude of roles. I hope to offer a lesson where you can develop not only your knowledge but also your confidence, I want you to feel proud of how far you've come.

My lessons will have a free flow to them as we will focus on whatever is needed during that session from anything such as classwork or curriculum to homework and exam preparation. Sessions will typically be 60 minutes in length but this can be changed if you feel as though you need a little longer! I specialise in Physical Geography however I have a GCSE and A-level in both human and physical geography. I am happy to work with children from years 7-11. I have worked with children for 4 years in a multitude of settings: Geography tutor (years 7,8,9) SEN care giver, Sports Coach, Netball Coach, Languages tutor and have completed multiple work experiences at primary and secondary schools. I can work with children of any level, from basic geographical understanding to pre GCSE preparation.

Kai helped me go from a grade 5 to a grade 9 from my January mocks to the real GCSE’s. I am so grateful. I loved their teaching style, it was a mix of exam questions which were made especially to fit what I was struggling with and also working through bits of geography I struggled with.
