Hello! I’m an enthusiastic and friendly polyglot with a tremendous passion for languages, music and culture. Having graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, I speak six languages: Russian (my mother tongue), Dutch, English, German, Spanish and French. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I offer bespoke online lessons tailored to your level and goals. These can focus on conversation, grammar, exam preparation, business language, or simply learning for pleasure. Alongside languages, I have ten years’ experience teaching the violin to beginners. I make music accessible and enjoyable, with careful attention to technique and repertoire. I also have extensive knowledge of literature, art and music history, and I enjoy integrating these into my lessons to create a richer learning experience.

Elmira is my daughter, and of course one only ever speaks highly of one’s children. That said, I can confirm that she is extremely precise and patient whenever she explains something to someone. She often helps me with my Dutch, for example. She not only excels in languages; she also knows a great deal about literature and art, and she loves sharing interesting little facts.
I took private violin lessons with her for two years, starting completely from scratch. That’s no easy task when you’re 35… She taught me the basics, and thanks to her I can now practise on my own at home. Elmira is very kind and calm, and it was a real pleasure to have lessons with her.
