About Marian
I am a responsible teen who truly cares about whoever I am investing my time in. I have held a part time job and done babysitting so I am experienced with kids! I also serve in my church and youth group. Forging a personal connection with my students will be a top priority for me because I want them to fully trust me!

My lessons will depend on what specific area of English help is needed with. For an example, a lesson plan with reading would look like me choosing and age appropriate book for the reader. If they were independent and it was more about reading comprehension, I would assign a certain amount of reading that we would then discuss techniques for reading. At the end of the book I would have them write a report or verbally explain the book to me (once again depending on age.) Personally I need a job that I am my own boss of, but I also love English (especially reading) and kids. I am very patient but I also see the value in hard work! These lessons are for strictly grades lower than high school. I would consider high school students in specific situations, but I would want them to be aware I have not yet personally graduated.
