About Thembelihle
Hello, my name is Lihle, and I am a dedicated Mathematics and Physics tutor with a strong academic foundation in both subjects. I am passionate about helping students understand difficult concepts, improve their problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in their academic abilities.
My tutoring approach is structured, patient, and learner-focused. I take time to identify where a student is struggling and explain concepts step by step, using clear examples and guided practice. I believe that with the right support and explanations, every student can improve their performance in Mathematics and Physics.
I teach in English and isiXhosa, which allows me to support students who benefit from explanations in their home language. I maintain a professional, respectful, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.
My lessons are aimed at high school learners (Grades 8–12), including students who need extra support, exam preparation, or a stronger understanding of key concepts. Students can expect well-prepared lessons, clear explanations, regular practice, and constructive feedback in every session.

My approach to private tutoring is learner-centered and results-focused. I believe that Mathematics and Physics become much easier when concepts are broken down step by step and linked to what the learner already understands. I focus on building strong foundations first, then gradually developing problem-solving skills and exam confidence.
What makes me unique as a tutor is my ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, relatable way. Having recently completed the same curriculum, I understand the common mistakes learners make and the areas where they usually struggle. I adapt my teaching style to suit each learner’s pace and learning style, ensuring they feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating.
I am proficient in English and isiXhosa, and I am able to teach or explain concepts in either language when needed. This helps learners who understand better when concepts are clarified in their home language.
In a typical lesson, students can expect:
