About Angela

I'm Dr. G, a concert pianist with a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from Louisiana State University and advanced degrees from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid and the Complutense University of Madrid.

For more than 25 years I have performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and collaborative artist in Europe and the United States, working with leading instrumentalists, vocalists, and orchestras. I have given masterclasses and taught at festivals and residencies across Europe and the Americas.

This experience shapes how I teach. I know what it takes to play at a professional level, and I know how to guide students of any level there step by step, with patience, clear explanations, and a natural, healthy technique.

I teach in English, Spanish, and Italian. My goal is for every student to feel supported, to see real progress, and to enjoy making music.

Learn to play piano the natural way

Hello! I’m Dr. G., a concert pianist with a Doctor of Musical Arts and more than 25 years of experience performing and teaching in Europe and the United States.

My approach is built on a natural way of playing. I teach a relaxed, efficient technique that works with your body instead of against it, so you play with ease, a beautiful sound, and no tension or strain. This also helps you avoid bad habits and progress faster.

Alongside technique, I give you a strong musical foundation: reading music, understanding rhythm and harmony, shaping a phrase, and playing with expression. You won’t just play the right notes. You’ll understand the music and make it your own.

What you can expect:

Online lessons for all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced students
A personalized plan based on your goals, whether that’s playing for pleasure, preparing for an audition, or taking your performance to the next level
Repertoire you love, from classical to contemporary
A patient, encouraging, and professional approach

I teach in English, Spanish, and Italian.

Send me a message to arrange a first lesson. I’d love to help you discover the joy of playing piano.
