About Hawani
My Tutoring Approach & Teaching Style Who I Am & Why I Teach: I am a recent SPM candidate, currently awaiting my results. I have always been passionate about helping others, and I want to be a reliable source of support for students who struggle in their studies. Having experienced different school environments—including SMKA for a few months, SBP for four years, and SMK in my final year—I have a deep understanding of how the education system works and the challenges students face. I know firsthand that learning in a large classroom can be overwhelming, making it difficult to receive the attention needed. Because of this, I aim to provide personalized guidance to help students overcome their struggles and build confidence in their subjects.

My Tutoring Approach & Teaching Style Techniques & Methodology: I focus on conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I simplify complex topics using real-life examples, step-by-step explanations, and interactive problem-solving. I also adapt my teaching to match each student’s pace, ensuring they fully grasp the basics before moving forward. I incorporate tools such as online whiteboards, past-year questions, and personalized notes to enhance learning. Lesson Structure & Length: Each session lasts a minimum of 1 to 1.5 hours, beginning with a brief review of previous lessons, followed by guided problem-solving and interactive exercises. If a longer session is needed, it can be discussed and arranged. I encourage active participation through discussions, real-time feedback, and tailored practice questions to ensure understanding. Qualifications & Experience: I recently sat for the SPM exam and have experience tutoring my classmates, helping them strengthen their math, physics, and chemistry basics while mastering algebra concepts. My teaching style has helped them gain confidence, improve their problem-solving skills, and develop a deeper understanding of key topics. Who My Lessons Are For: I offer online tutoring for Form 1 to Form 4 students (ages 13-16). My lessons are perfect for students who struggle with math, physics, chemistry, or algebra and need clear, patient guidance.
