• When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

  I have been passionate about music and singing since I was very young. My journey started with a deep fascination for the human voice and its limitless possibilities. Over time, I developed a particular interest in vocal technique, exploring different styles from opera to contemporary music. My formal studies in music and acting at UFMG, as well as my experience competing in major international singing contests, solidified my commitment to this field.

• What makes you passionate about your subject?

  What excites me most about singing is its ability to express deep emotions and connect people across cultures. The human voice is a powerful instrument, and helping students unlock their full vocal potential is incredibly rewarding. I love seeing my students gain confidence, discover new colors in their voices, and achieve things they once thought were impossible.

• What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

  Teaching allows me to share my knowledge and experience in a way that directly impacts my students' artistic growth. I focus on personalized vocal training, adapting techniques to each student's needs and goals. What makes me a "Superprof" is my dedication to high-quality, in-depth teaching, my ability to diagnose technical issues efficiently, and my experience in both classical and popular singing. My students appreciate my supportive, detailed approach, which helps them sing in a healthy and expressive way.

• Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

  Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to learn from exceptional vocal coaches and musicians. One of my greatest inspirations has been the castrati singers of the past-artists with rare voices who pushed the boundaries of vocal technique. Their historical legacy motivates me to explore the full potential of the human voice. Additionally, I admire teachers who approach vocal training with both scientific knowledge and artistic sensibility, balancing technique with emotional expression.

• What are your keys to success?

  Success in singing comes from dedication, continuous learning, and a strong technical foundation. My key principles are:
  
  1-Technique & Knowledge: Understanding vocal mechanics and constantly refining my approach.
  2-Adaptability: Teaching students with different goals, whether they want to sing professionally or for personal fulfillment.
  3-Passion & Expression: Encouraging students to connect with the music and their emotions.
  4-Patience & Persistence: Helping students overcome vocal challenges at their own pace while maintaining motivation.
  
  Most importantly, I believe success in music comes from enjoying the process and embracing one's unique vocal identity.
