Personally, I run one hour revision sessions to increase focus and understanding. Direct instruction alongside formative assessments are methods I used during my placement, they help grow knowledge and understanding, enabling the student to develop their skills in the subject. PowerPoints with questions from mock papers will be a specific example used, alongside converting together, so it is not just students working alone. This increases verbal stimulation from the student leading to them remembering more. Lessons can be adapted for any age group.
