About Fabiha
Hi! I'm Fabiha, a BSc Optometry graduate with a strong passion for science and helping others understand it with confidence.
Having recently completed my degree, I understand first-hand how overwhelming exams, revision and difficult topics can feel. Throughout my studies, I've developed effective ways of breaking down complex information into simple, easy-to-understand concepts, and I want to help students do the same.
I'm friendly, patient and approachable, and I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I don't believe in simply giving students the answers — my goal is to help them understand why something works so they can tackle questions independently.
I have a particular interest in Biology and Science, and I can support students preparing for GCSE and A-Level exams. As an optometry graduate, I can also offer insight into healthcare careers, university applications and studying optometry for students considering this pathway.
Whether you're struggling with a particular topic, preparing for exams, or simply want to feel more confident in Biology or Chemistry, I'd love to help you reach your goals!

I believe the best tutoring is about making difficult topics feel simple and manageable. My approach is friendly, patient and tailored to each student, as everyone learns differently. I focus on understanding rather than memorising, using clear explanations, diagrams, real-life examples and practice questions to help students build confidence in the subject.
Before introducing new material, I like to identify areas the student finds challenging and then work through them step-by-step. I also use active recall and exam-style questions to check understanding and develop exam technique. Lessons can be adapted depending on whether the student needs help catching up, consolidating knowledge, preparing for exams or simply building confidence.
Lessons are typically 1 hour, although I can be flexible depending on the student's age, level and needs.
I am a BSc Optometry graduate, giving me a strong background in biology, human anatomy, physiology and vision science. Having recently completed university myself, I understand the challenges students face and can offer practical advice on revision, organisation and preparing for exams.
I offer tutoring primarily for GCSE Science/Biology and A-Level Biology, and I am also happy to support students interested in pursuing optometry or other healthcare-related university courses.
My aim is for every student to leave a lesson feeling that they understand the topic better and feel more confident tackling it independently.
