About Leo
I am a 4th year optometry student at the top of the class with 9 years of tutoring experience. I am trusted by a dozen different peers in graduate school to teach difficult concepts and help them build a strategy for success. I deeply enjoy the intrinsic reward of seeing the joy of my mentees and tutees when they succeed.

I instill curiosity in my tutees by drawing from my own personal experiences. Connection to problems my students' lives give meaning to difficult concepts. A session revolves around guiding my tutee to focus on important information, explaining ideas in simple terms to create long-term memory, demonstrating efficient memorization techniques, and working together on real life examples. The lessons are best for ambitious middle to high school students seeking future university or higher level education. My motto is to study hard now in order to make time for fun later!
