About Ryann
I’m a human biology major, and I earned high As in my organic chemistry courses, which reflects my strong understanding of the material and commitment to learning. As a former TA for organic chemistry, I developed the ability to break down complex concepts and explain them in ways that make sense to students. I also bring in real-world applications of organic chemistry, especially from a biological perspective, which helps students see how the subject connects to fields like medicine, biochemistry, and pharmacology.

Typical lessons consist of a quick content review and working through practice problems. If you provide me your class notes I can draft up problems or we can do the assigned worksheets or problem sets! Ready for you to understand the "why?" behind each problem. Can also offer supplemental lessons and lectures if requested. Open to zoom or virtual meetings. As an organic chemistry tutor, my approach centers around fostering a deep understanding of the material while making complex concepts more accessible and engaging. Organic chemistry often involves abstract concepts. I use molecular models, diagrams, and online tools to help students visualize structures and reactions, making abstract ideas more tangible.
