About Amanda
I have worked in education for over 18 years! I studied Elementary Education at the University of Northern Colorado. I also trained with a Master Montessori instructor for 2 years. Most recently I have worked with K-5th grade students on reading intervention. I have also taught Pre-K and Kindergarten over my 18 years in Education. As for my personal life, I am married with 4 children and 2 dogs. We live in Willmar, MN and love getting outside for family fun adventures!

When working with my students, I love to get to know them well before we begin tutoring. This helps me to be able to plan and prepare lessons that fit the child best. I love to get kids up and moving when possible and utilize “Hands-on” activities when possible!
