About Elizabeth
I recently graduated from the University of Oxford, with an integrated Masters degree in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry. As an undergraduate I enjoyed tutoring 11+ and GCSE students in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I look forward to continuing tutoring alongside beginning my Medicine degree next year at St George's, University of London.

As an undergraduate I enjoyed tutoring 11+ and GCSE students in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. Having attended a grammar school myself, I am familiar with how daunting 11+ exams can feel, and hence the pivotal role tutors can have by instilling confidence and exam technique. Further to this, my experience at GCSE and A Level reinforced the importance of harnessing tools such as exam specifications and mark schemes in order to streamline revision.
However, while learning is often exam-tailored, I believe fostering genuine enthusiasm and curiosity for a subject is paramount, such as by enthusing the transferability of content. Having tutored students ranging from 11+ to GCSE, I believe that by tailoring one's approach to students, they can feel comfortable asking questions in order to get the most out of lessons.
