About Riya

I am a recent Geography gradute from the University of Oxford.

I achieved A*A*A in my A-levels in Geography, Maths and Economics respectively.

I come from a state comprehensive school where I worked incredibly hard to gain a place at Oxford. I have mentored students who are applying to Oxford and Cambridge, and assisted them with all stages of the applicaiton process, as well as conducted outreach programmes with my university for those interested in applying for Geography.

I am super passionate about Geography - my topics of interest include Transport and Mobilities, Sustainable Urbanisms, resistance and protest, and other aspects of urban geography and international development.

About the lesson

Helping students to apply for geography (+joint honours at university).

Each session is tailored to your specific needs. I edit and help with personal statements, assist you in your preparation for admissions tests, as well as prepare you for interviews at university (if applicable).

Students can contact me outside of tutoring hours with any questions they might have.

I can't recommend Riya enough - she helped my daughter with her A Level Geography and my son with his GCSE Geography so much and they have both become more confident and come to enjoy the subject much more! Both their teachers have been extremely happy with their improvement! Thanks so much Riya!

Riya helped my son through his Oxbridge application by reviewing his personal statement and conducting mock interviews with him which were very valuable and insightful as well as engaging, resulting in my son receiving an offer from Cambridge
