About Lucie
I have recently graduated from music college (university) and have kept on my sight-reading and piano playing which have played an important role in my motivation and overall well-being.
As a teenager who was once demotivated at the idea of practicing piano, I have revived my interest when I understood that practice could also be enjoyable if I was passionate about the pieces I played. My technique improved at that maturer age from strict technical exercises but I do not believe that a younger child should have to follow these rules so intensely in order to be a good player.
To practice an instrument after all is first and foremost to play music and share that music, this is what I would like to remind my student every time when practising seems hard.

About the lesson

We will work mainly on a piece the student either must learn or really likes. The most important is to link technical issues and challenges with actual practice. If the student is required to play a piece, I will do my best to add a piece they would like to play on their own account as well in order to sustain interest.
Technical exercises will not be shunned but will remain only a little portion of the lesson's focus and be presented to the student as core to their overall practice.
Depending on the pupil's age and needs, the lesson can be between 20 and 45 min. I will accept pupils from the age of 10.
