As a tutor, I try to let my students guide the lesson and always focus on the areas they are having the most trouble with; my approach to the lessons varies, as I feel it is important to be flexible and adapt to the needs and preferences of the tutee. In general though, I aim to instil a fundamental understanding of all the topics I cover, to enable my students to tackle new problems with confidence.
Last year I graduated from Oxford University with a first class honours masters' degree in mathematics. I have been working as a GCSE and A-level maths tutor for the last year, and have also spent a lot of time assisting with the creation of a set of online tutorials for A-level maths students, so I have a strong familiarity with all of the A level maths and further maths syllabus.

I have spent a lot of the past year helping to create a series of online maths and further maths tutorials for A-level students. As a result of this, I am now very familiar with the A level maths courses, and have come up with a variety of innovative and practical methods for introducing and explaining new mathematical ideas to students.
