About Amy
I have degree in physics and a PhD in biomechanics. I have worked in engineering, academic research, and as a teacher and lecturer. I have previously worked with a range of students privately, from KS2 level up to undergraduates. Having just left the teaching profession, my specialism is KS3 and KS4 science.

I try to make sessions accessible using real world examples. Through teaching I have gained experience in different styles of learning and try to adapt sessions to suit the students preference. This might include verbal, written, drawing, or modelling activities. With younger students in the past I have created games to help with difficult concepts.
