About Clara
I have just graduated from university and moved to Hove where I work full time in a cafe as a barista. In my free time I love samba drumming, playing trombone in a big band, drawing, reading and cooking.
In September 2024 I will take up a place at The Royal College of Music to do a Masters in bassoon performance, which I am very excited about!

Degree in Music from Oxford University
Grade 8 standard on Piano, Bassoon, Trombone and Percussion
A-levels in Maths, Chemistry, Music
Lessons:
Instrumental music -
I typically teach for 45 mins to an hour to any age - I have experience of adult and child pupils. I always tailor my lessons to suit the pupil, with a focus on both musicality and technique. I hope to inspire my pupils to listen to a range of musical styles and to show my passion for music as much as possible (as ultimately this will create more enthusiasm to practice)
Sciences/ music theory - I typically teach for 45 mins to an hour to anyone but usually children up to age 18. I am very good at explaining things and at motivating pupils to work at the subject outside the lesson. I can help with homework, revision and extra coaching for exams.
