About Brandon
I have tutored children and adults alike in general music education as well as more specifically music theory from an introductory to advanced level. During High School, I have peer tutored the Music Theory course as well as a collaborative independent course with the professor of Composition. As a composer, I have worked in styles ranging from neoclassical to contemporary, as well as pop songs and jazz. I am friendly and put special effort into making sure that each student gets personalized lessons catered to their needs and level of expertise.

My lessons cater to students of all skill levels, from those with little to no experience in Musical Composition to those who are experienced composers looking to obtain more tools to incorporate their music. For a first lesson, I will work out with the student their goals and plans. The subsequent lessons will be personalized lessons, each with a detailed outline on any concepts covered and exercises. I also encourage students to write pieces and work frequently on projects.
