About Kiki

Francesca Power is reading music at Lincoln College, Oxford and is a Lady of the Consort of Voices at Magdalen. From 2016-18 she attended the Junior Royal Academy of Music, where she studied with John Lattimore (with whom she still studies), and where she won the Ann Lampard Singing competition. In 2013 she reached the national final of the Rotary Young Musician of the Year, and in 2017 she was the winner in the vocal category of the International Mozart Competition Composer Series. She also reached the final of the Music Cuppers competition, winning the vocal category throughout the University. Francesca has completed her ARSM Singing Diploma with Distinction and is currently working towards her DipABRSM which she will be taking in Michaelmas. Francesca's recent stage performances include Phyllis in Iolanthe, Gilbert & Sullivan at the Royal Academy of Music and with the Oxford Gilbert and Sullivan Society, and Female Chorus in The Rape of Lucretia, Britten. Earlier this year Francesca appeared in opera scenes with Oxford University Opera Society, singing Frasquita (Carmen), and 2nd Niece (Peter Grimes).

About the lesson

My teaching style is very specific to the student and in my tutorials I aim to iron out difficulties and uncertainties before progressing onto learning new material. I am also a dedicated tutor and will spend time before the lesson preparing as well as providing feedback at the end of each lesson.

Travel Costs depend on how long it will take me. 15 minutes of travel (30 mins altogether) is £4.50 and then anything longer is £8
