My teaching style is varied and diverse, just as students are. I believe that the way we take in information varies from individual to individual and so I will seek to identify a students learning preferences and utilise this as the base of lesson structure. Memory is formulated faster through exposure to variety and patterns so this also underpins my methodology for teaching. Helping students to formulate ideas in a way they can easily recall.
I am a Paramedical Science student currently studying at Bournemouth University. Previously I served in the British Army with a medical capacity and was responsible for delivering lessons to upwards of thirty soldiers. I attended college after leaving the military and passed my Access to Higher education Course with all credits at Distinction grade. During this time I helped many other members of my class with their studies by breaking down more complex ideas into easier to grasp chunks as I did in the Military.
