About Shiva
Hi! I’m a student of English Honors who has always been deeply curious about how stories — whether from literature or history — shape the world we live in. Back in school, History was one of my favorite subjects because it never felt like mugging up facts; to me, it was like connecting dots in a grand story about people, power, and change. I decided to start teaching because I know how difficult it can feel when a subject seems overwhelming or boring. I’ve been there and I know that sometimes, all it takes is a teacher who explains things simply, patiently, and in a way that actually makes sense. Through my classes, I want to help students not just score well, but also enjoy learning — to see History not as a pile of dates, but as a living, breathing story of humanity. My goal is to make each session interactive, clear, and relatable — something you’ll look forward to, not dread.

Hi! I teach History in a way that’s different from traditional rote learning.

I think shiva will be a great teacher as she herself as a student was extremely attentive and intrested in history and political science...she makes personalized notes and explains in a way which is compassionate, patient and understanding..she helps children with queries and makes learning an easy experience.
