I tend to tailor my teaching approach to the interests and goals of my tutees. Italian is a beautiful and complex language that offers many angles. I tend to develop creative paths that follow the tutees passions and help them build the specific skills that led them to seek a tutor in first place
I have been volunteering as an Italian teacher in a refugee centre in Turin- Italy for the past three years. I taught Italian to asylum seekers of all level and age both in groups as well as individual classes. I am fluent as well in Spanish and have a good understanding of French which often helps me support multiple pupils grasping better the Italian language by making connection with the languages they may already speak
