About Joel
I am a positive role model and ambassador to the children and young people that I support. I am very passionate about working with students. I am ambitious, committed and motivated to help my students succeed . I have a positive mindset I am a great active listener, I am calm and patient with my students.
I find it incredibly rewarding to see my students grow and develop. I always strive to deliver the best of my ability for the pupils that I support. I believe that I can bring the best out of the students that I work with.
I currently work full time as a supply teacher supports all curriculum subjects but more so Maths & English for the most part. I am also a mentor, progress coach and Additional Learning Support to key stages 1-4. I work with children and young people of all ages mainstream and with Special Needs including Dyslexia, Autism, ASD and behavioural needs.
My Skills and training include Occupational Therapy, phonetics, perceptual literacy, Lego Therapy and also social skills interventions.
