About Sharon
Hi, I’m Sharon and I’m 15 years old and I’ve been playing piano for over 8 years. I earned my diploma at 13 and have been practicing non-stop with challenging and beautiful classical pieces like Fantaisie Impromptu and Moonlight Sonata. I love music. I play the violin, a little bit of guitar, and some flute as well. And of course, I love singing too. I was also awarded the Arts Cup as the arts person of the year at my prize-giving last year along with visual arts person of the year. I’m a perfectionist and will always try my best at everything I do, and that includes tutoring piano.

I'll greet you and teach with a smile and warmth, always make sure you feel welcomed and cared for as a student. I’ve had experience tutoring my former piano teacher’s students since 11 years old and would prefer teaching children or teens as I'm younger too and can easily connect. I always teach with patience and understanding, using different methods for each student to help them understand and play better. I encourage but don't hesitate to give gentle feedback and constructive criticism that can help the student grow very fast. The lessons are one-on-one and have to be held online for the first few lessons. Each lesson is an hour long. I can teach any level of piano skills/playing and basic to intermediate theory to build a good foundation.
