Hi! I’m Vaishnavi, a trained Bollywood dancer with a lifelong passion for music, movement, and self-expression. I’ve been dancing since childhood, and my formal training at Shiamak Davar’s Institute has helped shape my unique style, energy, and stage presence. As a tutor, I bring a mix of patience, positivity, and a student-first approach to every class. Whether I’m working with kids or adult beginners, my goal is to create a fun, supportive, and engaging environment where students can build confidence, improve technique, and truly enjoy the joy of Bollywood dance. I’m a quick learner and a dedicated guide. I’m always open to growth and committed to giving every student an experience filled with rhythm, expression, and encouragement. As a passionate Bollywood dancer trained at Shiamak Davar’s Institute, I believe dance is more than just movement—it's a beautiful blend of energy, expression, and emotion. My aim as a tutor is to create an encouraging space where students can enjoy every step of the learning journey while building confidence and technique.
Teaching Style & Methods
My classes focus on simplifying choreography into easy, digestible steps, with special attention to rhythm, grace, and expressions. I use mirror techniques, repetition, and clear verbal cues to help students connect with the flow and feel of the dance, no matter their experience level.
What a Typical Class Looks Like
5 mins of warm-up and freestyle groove
10–15 mins of foundational steps or basic drills
20 mins of choreography (based on a Bollywood song or theme)
5 mins of cool-down and student feedback
Every session is flexible and adapted to suit the student’s pace and comfort.
What Makes Me Unique
I’ve been dancing since childhood, and I bring not just training but genuine love and joy to every class. While I’m still building my teaching experience, I’m a quick learner, deeply committed, and always striving to grow along with my students. I teach with patience, encouragement, and a deep respect for every learner’s journey.
