About Jason
I am 27 years old, I have been married for about 5 years now and I have two wonderful children. We live here in New Jersey currently and recently just moved from New York. I currently work in the Maritime industry and am also a U.S. Army Veteran. I also help teach a jiu jitsu kids program in Hackensack. The most important thing about me is my faith in Jesus Christ. This is the reason why I started playing the piano so I could ultimately play for him and teach others as well that playing the piano is fun and easy to learn with the right guidance. I truly enjoy teaching and have a burning desire to do so! I believe I really have been gifted by God with the gentleness and patience and qualities a teacher should have. I also love working with kids, I understand them well and love to work with them.

I genuinely love to teach and be able to experience the progress someone can make when they have someone there to support them strongly. I will aim to set up my students for success and make sure they are truly understanding what they are learning, no matter how long it takes. One thing you can be certain of, I will never get frustrated and will always be patient. I believe that is what sets me apart, that I am very patient and friendly. I truly enjoy singing and playing the piano. I'm here to support my student with any questions they may have always. I will start my lessons by getting familiar with the keyboard, going over some theory to understand, practicing chords/scales, understanding inversions, practicing songs, working on control and so much more. I know for certain I will be able to help get you on the right steps. It can be hard sometimes to know where to start and how to progress but I believe I can help out for sure. I am also a believer in Jesus Christ and I've learned to play the piano in order to worship, I would love to help out other believers to experience the joy of being able to play worship. I also am open for all types of songs and reasons for playing the piano as well.
