I am a Computer Programming tutor with 7 years of experience and a BSc in Computer Science. I have successfully taught over 200 students from complete beginners to advanced programmers preparing for software development careers. My Computer Programming lessons are project-based, practical, and designed to build real coding ability that students can immediately apply from the very first session. Every lesson opens with a review of previous code and concepts to reinforce understanding and identify gaps before progressing to new material. Core programming concepts including variables, data types, control flow, functions, object-oriented design, and error handling are always taught through small working real programs rather than abstract theory. Python lessons progress through data structures, file handling, APIs, libraries, and practical automation or data science applications depending on the student's specific goals. Java sessions cover object-oriented programming in depth, data structures, algorithms, collections, and preparation for university assessments or technical software engineering interviews. JavaScript and web development students build complete interactive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and appropriate modern frameworks step by step. SQL lessons develop database design, complex queries, joins, subqueries, and data manipulation in realistic business and research scenarios. I encourage all students to work on their own project ideas throughout the course because personal motivation dramatically accelerates genuine programming skill development. Commented code examples and progressive challenges are provided after every session. My commitment is for every student to write clean, functional, professional-quality code with genuine confidence and independent problem-solving ability.
