About Brenda
I have experience teaching in person and online. I bring positive energy, a dynamic skill-set, and sensitivity to you as a whole person. In other words, if you are feeling stressed, intimidated or in fear about an upcoming presentation or paper submission, I can work with you to first deal with the limiting fear (via breath-work; gentle movement; and affirmations). Whether it's reading a text (fiction or non-fiction) to unlock meaning; writing a literature-based or historical paper; needing an extra pair of skilled eyes to edit and refine your work; or practicing for a public speaking presentation, I can help you grow in confidence and competency.
My students have always relayed that my teaching is joyful and rigorous. My aim is to have you discover and develop your critical thinking skills and voice, whether spoken or in print. I have worked with students of all ages: adolescent, high school, and college-aged, and adults.
