Hello!
My name is Hanny and I am an English teacher, originally from Canada, but now living in Spain and working as an English instructor at university.
I have broad experience working with varied age groups in multiple settings (primary school, secondary school, at university, and one-on-one private classes).
I am intensely passionate and dedicated to teaching English, especially when I have the privilege of a one-on-one tutoring opportunity because it allows me to personalize my lesson to fit you and make our time together as fun and engaging as possible! My goal is to make learning English something you look forward to, rather than something you are worried about or even dread doing.

I revolve most of my lessons around **conversation practice**, helping you sound more natural/native, and enhancing your vocabulary arsenal, so if that's an aspect of your English you really want to work on, let's do it! I should note that I normally cater my lessons for students with an intermediate/advanced english (anywhere from B2-C2 level). If you're only looking for grammar lessons, I'm afraid my lessons won't be the best option for you. As previously mentioned, I focus on active learning through engaging real-world conversations and discussions.
I also have study and research experience in psychology, so I try to incorporate that into my lessons as well, both in the way that I interact with my students and the way that I structure my lessons and the learning path of the student.
My classes are very laid back and relaxed. There is no need to feel nervous or intimidated to begin your lessons with me.
I should also add that I ALWAYS welcome feedback, and in fact, encourage it. In this way, I can guarantee that you'll enjoy our lessons as much as possible. I put an emphasis on adapting the content we use during our lessons to each student, based on his/her interests and objectives.
